    Hey Cows,

I’m looking for any good resources, tutorials, explanations, etc. that might help me figure out how to go about designing snazzy camera moves in 3d space for my motion graphics. I’m reasonably happy with where my 2d skills are at this point, and I feel more than comfortable working in 3d space, but I’d really like to be able to improve my camera moves. It’s not that difficult to fly a camera in or out, but I think that some of the best broadcast designers out there have a certain fluidity to their moves that just seems to escape me. Any pointers in the right direction from those of you who really know what you’re doing in this area would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

I know what your saying. I’m in the exact same position. I can work a camera, I’m happy in 3D BUT when it comes to those beautiful long fluid and dymnamic camera moves I get bogged down pretty quickly and really struggle with it.

I think it really is a case of understanding expressions. With that you can set up up beautiful controls for your camera that way.

Some good pointers I have got have come from this project using his camera animation template

But yeah, its a dark art 🙂 And I’m still learning, because expressions confuse the crap out of me! 🙂
