  • Camera move and HD to SD downconvert

Posted by Post:blur on October 30, 2006 at 2:46 am

So I have created my project at a 1920×1080 aspect ratio… I can nest this project in a SD (720×486) composition letterboxed/fitted to screen and it looks good. -BUT- When I do a camera move in the HD version (to make a pan/scan version) the camera move is not in the nested version. My workaround is to render the HD file and inport that into a SD comp… any shortcut or trick to nest it instead?

Are you using continuously rasterize on the nested comp? This will disable nested cameras, so if you can do not use it.

Nope, the images are large format pictures, so there is no rasterizing.
