camera matching using foreground object??
So I have successfully used the background object with no problems. I am looking to use a foreground object and cannot get it to appear in the editor. I even tried playing with the “appear in editor settings” with no luck. Basically, what I need to do is match up the perspective of the video shoot with the scene I made to composite the video into, and I am guessing that the foreground object is the way to go (correct me if I am wrong. Fairly new to C4d). The background object appears fine when I just create the object and apply the video as a texture. When I apply the same treatment to the foreground object, however, nothing appears in the editor view. When I render, it shows up. Is there something I am missing here? Am I just completely confused and on the wrong path? The camera was locked, so there is no need for motion tracking or anything like that. I just need to match the locked camera perspective in my 3d environment (subjects are sitting in chairs in the video and I am to composite them into a CG passenger 1930s railroad train). All help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
