Camera jump from image to image
Posted by Kathleen Dylan on May 15, 2009 at 8:56 pmHi everyone–
I’m looking for a tutorial (or some instructions) to help me animate something like this youtube video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkbB0CDQoys
I’m guessing this is done using the Camera feature? What is the best way to go about getting it to snap from image to image?
Thanks,
Kathleen

May 15, 2009 at 9:11 pmput your pictures in Z space, tick the little square on your layer, and push your pictures back. make a camera and a null object. pick whip the camera to the null and then make your null 3d (tick the little square) then all you have to do is animate the null object on the z axis. each of your picture will reveal themselves when the camera passes over them. after you get that set up and keyframe your cameras path (keyframing the null, do not touch the camera) you can make text. copy the position of the picture you want text in front of and paste it on the text that you created, then just move the text on the z out a little.
after you tick the square on the layer your wanting to make 3d, hit (P) that will give you position. it’ll look like (1,2,3) the 3rd number in this case the number 3 is the z axis.

May 16, 2009 at 3:11 pmalso make sure that you use, motion blur (four little circles next to the 3d square) click that on every layer including your null. unless your using extremely high quality pictures, when you are close to them they will look like poop. add the motion blur will give a sense that it was shot with a real camera.
