    Camera Depth of Field not focusing less than approx 270px

    Hi,

    For some reason I can’t focus on anything less than approx 270px to the camera. I am on a long lens (2666px) but I thought that there wouldn’t be a minimum focal distance, seeing that it’s not actually a real camera. I am prepared to re-key frame my sequence but I’m not sold on that being the problem before I go to the trouble of widening my lens etc.

    I have attached two photos. The first is without the depth of field applied. The second is with it applied with the focal distance 150px (where my text is/ would be). You can see in the view on the left that the ‘focal distance’ line is accurately intersecting the text but nothing shows.

    I have tried fiddling around with some of the camera settings but to no avail..

    Any ideas?

    …Anyone else had this problem..? Any ideas would be super helpful- pulling teeth here.. :S
