  Camcorder not recognised by Premiere

  Hi.

  I just recently bought a Canon MVX200i camcorder and I’ve been unable to capture footage from the miniDV tape with the usual method of capture in Premiere Pro.
  I thought maybe there was something up with my fairly recently installed Premiere Pro 2.0, but I have tried my previous version (1.5), which I know works fine, and I still have no luck.
  When I go to File > Capture… , the window pops up and the display says the device is offline, but windows is recognising it.
  I have used another camera to import footage and it worked fine.

  Any ideas?
