I’m new to all this. I love doing it but need some help.

I bought a 7inch monitor to help while filming. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C16YCNM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).

I was also gifted a Samsung 17 inch monitor that I’m using as a second monitor for a second camera.

I’m guessing there’s a HUGE importance with calibrating monitors because I’m noticing just how much I change my camera settings to get a “good picture”. Then I’ll switch to the other monitor and it’ll be drastically different.

    1. Anyone with a T3i, which Preset do you shoot video in? (Standard, Neutral, Faithful, etc.)
    2. Are there any standards for calibrating on field monitors so one can get a true look at what’s being captured?

    Thanks for any thoughts.
