I never know which is the best forum for Vegas queries – this one or the one on another well know board – so hey-ho – today it’s the Cow!!!!

I have three tracks – each one has it’s own event – here’s a screenshot of the preview window:

The problem i have is getting the left tall picture to be the same height as the combined height of the smaller right hand pictures using maths!!!

Each of the smaller pictures has a height of 248. The top one has a Y position of 132, the bottom one is -132. So the combined height of the 2 actual pictures is 496. But I need to work out the size of the gap in the middle; as the Y position represents the centre of the picture I reckon it should be 132-124 = 8 – multiply by 2 (as there’s 2 pictures) = 16. 16 + 496 = 512. So I figure the height of the left picture should be 512 and then the top and bottom will be in line with the top and bottom of the right hand pictures.

But it’s not – if you look closely you can see it’s slightly shorter. Have I got the maths wrong – or is there a better way of doing this? The left hand picture has been cropped but only in the X axis.

    Thanx

It may be my eyes but it looks like it is taller too. Like the whole pic is moved up a pixel or two or three.
