Accidentally discovered one very helpful (mysterious) feature that might be unavailable by default settings in AE CC2014. Some of you may familiar with the AEScripts Author Ben Rollason. If you google the following paragraph you’ll find his words about that hidden feature:

“Prior to After Effects CC 2014 the way that expressions were cached could cause unnecessarily long render times if RAM is running low. In After Effects CC2014, there is a setting that improves the processing of expressions massively. The default is for this setting to be off though.”

if this is true, i am wondering why is it turned off by default, and it might be helpful for the community if someone reveals the mysterious feature 🙂

[zol ganbold] “it might be helpful for the community if someone reveals the mysterious feature :)”

That mysterious feature is enabled in Ae CC 2015 (13.5).
