    Hi,

I am trying to add a video backdrop plate in C4D to animate over – is this possible and if so how?
I have tried applying a material with a quicktime as its image, however this doesn’t update in the viewport when I scrub through – something I will need to be able to do.

    Any help would be great!

    Thanks

    Tim

Place a background object in your scene and apply your material with the video to it. Also, make sure that you go to the animation tab on your material and click calculate so the clip will play.

will work but you have to check Animate Preview in the Illumination tab of the material the QT is in
