C4D spline & AE tracking?
Hi,
Would it be possible to track an footage in after effects and export these points and apply them to the anchors points of a spline in Cinema 4D? this sounds like the best way but would this be possible? google is not helping me..

If your tracking in AE with camera tracker, https://www.thefoundry.co.uk/products/cameratracker/. I haven’t used this tracker so I don’t know how it works. You could get the data to c4d with the ae to c4d plugin. Here is a link to a tut and the plugin –
https://www.thepixellab.net/cinema-4d-tutorial-ae-c4d-maxon-pluginAlthough I would thing it would be easier to use a tracker program that goes directly to c4d or a file it understands like pfhoe ( https://www.pfhoe.com/ ) or another program. You would have more control over it that way. Then you could go from c4d to ae with the aec or aep file.
I’m sure there are some other ways too.

There is a new AE to C4D plugin provided by Maxon. You an download it from the Maxon website.
