C4d Chrome reflective effects and more
Can anyone point me in the right direction to a tutorial or any pointers as to achieve any of these results in C4d ?
I am mainly interested in creating chromed out 3d models that I can reflect footage into , I will be building models aswell as using model project files
, as I had a few more examples of effects mainly c4d textures that I need to work how to use I thought I would put them all in one post .
So apologies for seeming to be demanding , if you have the time have a quick look and if it triggers any ideas of how they were made I;d be very gratefull to get further along finding out.Chrome vehicle , here is a still from the video , in the video the car is

A basic chrome material is easy to create. Set color to black or very dark, turn off specular, and set reflection to a high value (80-95%). The key to getting a nice looking chrome render is to have something in your scene that the material can reflect. The best way to do that is to use an appropriate HDRI mapped to a sky object. If you want the reflection only and don’t want to see the background you can place a compositing tag on your sky object and uncheck the “seen by camera” box.

Yes. Just use a video file instead of an image file in the texture applied to your sky.
