C100 footage in Premiere Pro
Hi all,
I’m having trouble with my C100 footage in Premiere Pro. When I was working in FCP 7, I would transcode to Pro-Res 422, which worked well in both FCP and Premiere Pro. I’ve been told I don’t need to do that anymore, but I still can’t properly import my native MTS footage from the C100 into Premiere Pro. I get a “file format not supported” message, and when it does import, it takes ages to play back each file. Any suggestions?
I’ve searched all over google and the question has been addressed before but either not answered or answered in a way that doesn’t address my issue.Thank you!

What version of Premiere?

Make sure you copy entire card to hdd first then ingest via Media Browser.
Clear media cache as shown below

Rename top folder the footage is in and try again.———————————————–
