    c100 avchd files won’t import in PP CC 2015.2 on new mac with El capitan

    On my former mac I’ve had no issue importing AVCHD files in premiere pro cc 2015.2

    Now, I’ve got a new mac with El Capitan, same version of Premiere pro cc and AVCHD won’t import. I did a google search and couldn’t find anything on this issue. I tried playing the avchd files in MAC quicktime player and they playback just fine.

    My import process is either media browser or dragging the top level directories in.

    thanks for anyone that can shed some light on this.

    Clear all media cache and rename folder the clips are in. Then try again.

    Hi Ann,
    I hesitantly installed the latest PP CC 2015.3 and import works on this version. My current theory is that this is a new machine and since I used time-machine to install my former system, PP somehow got corrupted.

    I wanted to do a fresh install of V 2015.2 but couldn’t find it the creative cloud app? All I found was uninstall.
