Buying new Mac Pro
Hi guys,
New to the site so not sure if this question is in the right forum. I am about to purchase a new Mac Pro which will be used predominately for editing. FCS3, Photoshop CS4 and AE CS4.
Does anyone have a general insight into what works best with the above, ie Graphics cards, Quad vs 8 Core, speed, hard drive etc…

Hi Dave,
I want to buy a Mac Pro, but I’m waiting.
Apple should be releasing new models soon.
The last are almost one year old.

My recommendation is always the fastest Mac you can afford, 8GB RAM minimum, AJA Kona board, ATI 4870 Graphics card.
