buy Expercom.com RAM for new MBP & FCP pro apps?
I’m about to buy a new Macbook Pro and am considering upgrading the RAM from the stock 4 GB to 8 GB. I’m looking to buy the RAM from expercom.com (am buying the whole laptop from them & they’ll install it) but they only list the upgrade as “ExperCom RAM”. I know they didn’t make it, but am unsure if this is even a big concern.
Have searched, but found nothing on whether they use good RAM or even if there’s a big difference b/t RAM manufactures’ offering on this kind of computer. So any experience or thoughts is greatly appreciated!

Ram is ram, it doesn’t matter where you get it from in terms of
Its capabilities. However sometimes it’s good to research the place your buying it from (reviews etc) because ram can fail (crucial.com for exame seem to fail a lot for me but are a lot cheaper). This won’t damage your computer but it will either not turn on if this happens, or you’ll get a kernel panic every time you start up meaning you have to replace it which is frustrating.😀
