Buttons not animating after After Effects tinkering
Hi
I’ve created a basic menu for my showreel in Encore, animating the buttons so that the linked videos play as thumbnails on the menu. I’ve then exported the menu to After Effects via Dynamic Link and animated my company logo and the buttons, just fading them in. My issue, and I’m sure I’m just being a bit of a Noob here, is that when I import the AE composition back into Encore and hide my original menu layers, as advised in the Adobe Help, my buttons are no longer animated when I build the project. Reading this back, it seems obvious as to why, as the videos won’t have been exported to AE in the first place but how do I get the buttons to still animate after the AE tinkering? Do I need to ensure the videos are in AE? I’m going round in circles trying to work it out! Any advice would be appreciated…

When you make changes to a motion menu, you have to render the menu again to preview the changes.
