Buttons created in Photoshop for DVD Studio Pro
I am creating a DVD in DVD Studio Pro.
I created by menus in Photoshop. The photoshop menus use a separate layer group for each button. The groups contain the Icon, Shape, Highlight and mask layers.
I can put these photoshop docs on layered menus and get the button states working but then I cannot add music.
How can I add buttons that I want to add a ‘selected’ state to and add music to a menu
Can you help!

Hi Dionne
Using layered menus in DVD creates a situation where each layer is actuality its own contained menu. Layered menus look great because you can use different graphics for each state. The drawback is that, since DVD is a linear technology, you’re unable to use audio with these types of menus. When you toggle between states, the player is actually “moving” from layer to layer which are located on different portions of the disc.

Using normal overlays will allow audio.
