    Hey,

There are times when I burn a DVD for a bunch of people. Most, if not all, the time half the people can watch the movie successfully on their dvd player, and the other half have problems.

Problems they have may include the DVD not playing or the movie stopping somewhere and screwing up.

I burn the DVD at a speed of 8X onto a DVD+R. I’ve heard from a friend that the problem may be the burning speed. He told me if I burn at a speed of 4X or lower the DVD should work for everyone.

Could I get someone to confirm this? Or is there another solution to this problem.

Also, if it’s not too much trouble…what are the differences between the burning speeds. (i.e. the ups and downs of using certain speeds)

    Thanks in advance!
