  • Burning from VIDEO_TS or BLu-Ray folder question

Posted by Rick Neely on September 22, 2014 at 6:03 pm

    Hey folks,

in a quandry- exported some sequences form Premiere to Encore, setup chapters, first play, title remote, got it all setup until there were no errors. Then outputted them to DVD and BLuRay FOLDERS (not to disc).

Now I’m trying to burn to discs, I’ve navigated to the proper folders, but They will NOT burn because it says the ‘first play’ and ‘title remote’ are not set. Again, I’m very certain I set these BEFORE I made the FOLDERs, and I don’t know how to set them after fact (if there is a way).

Can someone tell me what I may be missing or a trick to resolve? Really do NOT want to re-encode again. Thanks!

What program are you burning from? Encore? ImgBurn? Toast?

If Encore, what do you show as the source?

    Encore,

For Blu-Ray, I’m navigating to the folder that contains the following.

    BDMV
    AUXDATA
    BACKUP
    BDJO
    CLIPINF
    index.bdmv
    JAR
    META
    MovieObject.bdmv
    PLAYLIST
    STREAM
    00000.m2ts
    CERTIFICATE

The ‘Build’ Button is still grayed out. help?

In Encore, build panel, you will see that when the “Format” is set to Blu-ray and the “Output” is set to Blu-ray disc (i.e. you want to burn a disc), the only “Create using” options are “current project” or “disc image” – no folder as source. You must build to a disc image, not a folder.

For DVD, no problem, with format/output set to DVD/DVD Disc, you have “DVD Volume” as an option.
