I have been working on a project over the summer, and when I finished it I tried to burn the project onto a DVD. I was told I had to convert it to Quicktime, and I would be able to burn it from there. I did all of that and I still can’t burn it onto a DVD. In fact, I couldn’t find “burn” and all. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could burn this project onto a DVD?

Do you have some sort of encoding software (Sorenson, Quicktime Pro, etc.)? What DVD authoring software do you have?

You need to convert the Quicktime to an MPEG2 file format.

yeah you need to export your Quicktime to some DVD “burning” software.

And make it an mpeg 2 for DVD.

Avid will let you export any size QT you want, but it doesn’t author DVDs you’ll need a third party software for that. Sorensen Squeeze 5 or something like that to create the DVD.
