Burning Blu-Ray at home vs professional studio
We have an upcoming screening for a film festival and their preferred exhibition format is blu-ray. We’ve screened HDCAM, DigiBeta, Beta, etc in the past, but never blu-ray. My questions is this: will it make a difference if I burn it at home using Encore vs using a professional post house, which I’m sure will charge a pretty penny for the service? I’ve burned the blu-ray and tested it on my home theater. It looks and sounds amazing! I’m just wondering if I get an added benefit by using a post house?
