burning a dvd with Vegas
I know there has been a lot written on this subject…going through the various posts I think I am missing a step.
I am new to Vegas.. (i have 9e) and in the past..i would simply export HDV as m2t and burn a DVD using Nero..
Something tells me theres a better/easier way with Vegas.
This particular project is nothing fancy…not for a professional client this time…just putting together a summer video of material i’ve shot…the source material is 1280x720p HD…and its packaged into mp4 files. Vegas ingests just fine so i am using 1280x720x 32 29.97p project… If i want to burn a DVD whats the best way to render out?
Note…if haven’t used DVD Architect before. Would i just render out in one of the MPEG2 settings and then burn DVD with Architect? Has anyone used m2t ..i.e. rendered to it and then used that file to burn dvd?

i am using 1280x720x 32 29.97p project… If i want to burn a DVD whats the best way to render out?
First use the video render type Main Concept MPEG-2 with the video template DVD Architect NTSC Widescreen video stream and render your video.
Then use the audio render type Dolby Digital AC-3 Pro with the audio template Stereo DVD and render your audio using the same filename (just with the .ac3 extension)
In DVD Architect set your project to:
Disc format: DVD
Project video format: MPEG-2 720×480-60i, 16:9 (NTSC)
Project audio format: AC-3 StereoThen select a DVD template, drop your rendered video on the menu and burn your DVD.
