Burn/Cool effect transition
Hey all,
I’m working on a video for a game, and I need some help with a transition that I’m trying to achieve.
I have 2 layers (video files rendered in C4D) exactly the same except for the texture on the text is different.

Now I want to make the glowing text “cool” into the second text, but am stuck.
I used the glass wipe to achieve this effect, https://i.imgur.com/DRHeOvL.jpg
But I end up with little white flecks made by the transition, and also having difficulties merging the layers after the glowing text has mostly been converted.
Do any of you know how I would go about achieving this effect?

The problem is may be due to the Gradient layer that you have selected for Glass Wipe effect.
