Not sure why, but Vegas 9.0c working with AVCHD and Proxy’s is constantly building audio peaks. Whenever I make new cuts or move things around on the timeline, it can start rebuilding peaks sometimes 2-3 clips, sometime 50…

Sometime, it will even stall and I have to wait patiently before I can continue. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Where are you storing your sfk files? Make sure there is enough room for them and that they are not being automatically deleted.

Space should not be an issue. I’m working on a USB 1terabyte hard drive with 400 free gig. Is there an option that would erase peaks automatically? Even so, those peaks are being constantly rebuilt even if I have not closed the software…

More info on the bug. It seems to happen when I zoom in and out of the timeline.

    Ideas?
