Building new workhorse for premiere
Hoping to get some feedback on building a top performer utilizing cuda for premiere, after effects and media encoder. I have been working on a 2010 macpro 12 core with gtx 680 but will soon be transitioning to another position which I believe will allow me to build a workhorse.
After reading, PC would seem to be the way to go utilizing the gtx titan z. Chatting with Adobe, I could only get them to basically say “we recommend cuda” when I asked which was better cuda or open cl i.e. the new macpro
I would plan on a ssd main drive and as much ram as I could get.
One other catch if I went PC is that there are numerous projects on drives formatted osx journaled I would need to use.
I appreciate any thoughts?

Mac Drive allows you to read and write to HFS+ drives on windows. That is all you need for dealing with OSX formatted drives.
