    While building a dvd image, and slide shows been transcoded , I received this error message
    “Error passing MPEG DATA File. Deleting or renaming my document\333\cache\temp_transcodes\ss_ABstrm\_ss_ABstrm.m2v.xmpses”
    Will allow you to import, but any markers will be lost.
    333 is the name of my project. What can I do please?

    Sounds like your original file was damaged somehow, otherwise Encore wouldn’t resort to using the cached one. Try to relink/ replace the file in question.

    Try clearing out the Media Cache database, and then re loading the project.
    This will force Encore to rebuild the database, and may help.
    To do this, go to Edit/Preferences/Audio & Video.
    There is an option to clean the media cache database in there.
