Build but not burn again
I transcoded a QT reference file in Cleaner and got a .m2v file, which encore seemed to like…it previews and builds the project just fine. I’ve gone through 3 DVD’s which stop at 64kb and spits the media out. the Sonic works fine. What’s up with this? BTW, I used elementary not progressive in the transcoding. Could this have anything to do with it?

what media? DVD-R or DVD+R? Just been having bad experiances with HP DVD+R lately…going from a few K of data written to about half way done writing and then spitting it out or writing all data and the dvd is unplayible dispite successful burning.

It’s DVD-R and the media is not suspect. I can burn w/ the Sonic program w/ no problem. The 64K kick-out is the key. I found some unaswered “trouble tickets” on this forum,with the same 64K then quit, with no conclusions.

Have you tried creating a disc image and using your favorite disc burning app to put the image to a disc?
