    Hello!
Ok, I looking at building a system to capture multi track audio from da88 tapes to encode as dolby digital 5.1 and dts files.
    So…
How do you capture the audio? Protool LE?
Can I use a pc, stick in a m-audio sound card, load up protools or something cheaper, spit out six mono wavs, loud them in to Surcode, job done!? 🙂

If someone could let me know all or what hardware I would need that would be great.

    MANY Many thanks.
