Buggy Jittery spots for no reason?

Have you ever been key framing a simple photo for a slide show video, and that particular photo you’re keying just jitters for no reason?
I’m creating a very simple animated scroll for a photo. Starting the scale out very small, and increasing the size over about 5 seconds so it looks like you’re zooming into the photo.
In the middle of the zoom the picture will do a very noticeable blip, or jump, or something that’s causing me to want to rip FCP out and bash it on the ground if that were possible… sorry.. Italian temper.
I haven’t trashed user data and prefs yet so that might be a fix to something. I’ve removed all attributes and started over. And the other times it will not blip in the exact same spot, but it will still jump a little in a different spot.

Hi res stills can create aliasing as you move or zoom. A slight gaussian blur wil slightly soften which reduces jittery artifacts.
Also have a look at Walter Biscardi’s tutorial on working with stills and how to understand pixels and dpi.

Make sure your keyframes are whole even numbers. Hi rez photos will jitter.
