Bugging me forever – fix the “Flip Over” transition?
Why oh why does Adobe program the stock Flip Over transition to have a grey background?!?!? Have anyone ever used a grey background? Whenever I use this transition, I always have to modify it to have a black background. Is there any way to make that the default? And for CS4, Adobe, please fix this!!!!

Maybe theyre expecting people to put something behind it, or at least let the know that they can put something behind it. I wouldnt be surprised if you were the first person to ever complain about it, as the effect was only used in 90’s infomericals and government videos.

Actually, you can’t put anything behind it. You can only select a solid color. And what’s with the attitude?

The problem is deeper than the one transition. It should be possible to save modified transitions as favorites. And, it should be possible to copy and paste transitions. Neither of these are possible, and both would solve at least part of the problem being discussed here.

To change the background color (why is there even a background color instead of transparency??)
1. Go to Effect Controls panel
2. Click “Custom…”
3. Click the color swatch next to “Fill Color”
4. Choose colorNow, does anyone know how to change the flip direction?
Both horizontal directions are the same, as are the two vertical directions.
