Buffy Dusting
Hi.
I’d like to reproduce the dusting effect on Buffy. I’m not that experienced with “particle Illusion”. I can do the skeleton thing, etc. on After Effects, the problem is the dust. None of the effects in my libraries really look the same. Where can I get or how can I create such a dust particle?PS: If you don’t know what I’m talkin’ about, I made a little video. My cut software acted weird, so it’s not the way I wanted it, but you can still see what I mean.

The Dust Puff emitter from the March 2000 library is a good starting point. You’ll probably want to increase the Velocity and drop the Size a bit.
If you click on my head at the top of the forum, there’s a tutorial with a different approach to the disintegration effect that you might be able to pick up some ideas from.
