buffering video effect
I’m doing a project where I am superimposing a video onto a laptop screen. At one point, the superimposed video (and audio) needs to stop and stutter a couple frames as if it is buffering. Any ideas on how to do this? I have to have the project done by thursday the 25th…

Just create a few still frames. Pick a pot in t he clip. MENU> Modify>freeze frame, assign it a duration, drop it in, in insert mode. Repeat to taste. For extra credit, apply occasional photoshop filters that create some blockiness and pixellation. Record the sound of you scrubbing thru the audio and add a few little touches of that.
