    Hi,

Can anyone please give me advice on how I can merge 2 bubbles together in a realistic way?

I have created my 2 bubbles in illustrator and have used the warp effect to give them realism as regards to slight movement. Know i just need one bubble to attach and merge into the other. I’m trying to do it using masking but I just cant get it right. Anyone got any useful tips? It would be most appreciated.

    Thanks

    Scott

if you don’t have special plugins, a really easy/fast/free way to do it is use cc bender on each layer and animate them together.

hmm.. If it’s a really complex image, maybe you’de have to do like a frame by frame animation via illustrator: There’s a free meta-ball script for Illustrator somewhere.

Otherwise, I’d recreate that in After Effects using adjustment layers with a blur and a threshold effect to join the shapes together and then a cc glass effect to give it the thickness and speculars.
