Can anyone spot whats wrong with the procedure below?. When I follow it I get broken links

Select insert scene selection menu. A small window appears. Enter the number of chapter thumbnails you want to appear per sub menu page. Click OK. A new thumbnail appears with the caption Scene Selection. Delete the original thumbnail. Reposition the new scene selection thumbnail in the workspace.
Click on PREVIEW at top of workspace. Main Menu appears similar to how it will appear on the DVD. Click on the thumbnail and/or use the built-in remote control for navigation.
Once you click on the thumbnail you’ll see a new page with a new thumbnail for each chapter you inserted.

I’ve just found my brain. Cancel that last post. I get the broken links in Architect 3.0c.

    [vegasarian] “Delete the original thumbnail.”

That’s the step that is breaking the links because you are taking a way the reference media.

Instead, start by dragging your media to the Project Overview window, then right-clik it and choose scene selection. This will keep everything over on Project Overview. Then drag what you need over to the menu(s).

As a Scot I normally make it a rule to never buy anyone a drink. But I’ll make an exception for you Gary, next time you’re in London. Many Thanks.
So the ‘original thumbnail’ will always display at the beginning of the DVD. Is it not possible to have the DVD open with just the scene selection thumbnail?

Thanks in advance for the drink:-)

It will not been seen if you don’t put it on the menu.

Now you’ve got me confused again Gary. You said dont delete the original thumbnail as I was taking away the reference media.
How do I remove the button from the main menu but keep the links?.

You never make the button in the first place my adding the media to the Proect Overview, not the menu.
