Broadcast Export Problem on Premiere Pro (mac)
I’m attempting to export a 2 minute deliverable for broadcast. Edit was made at 29.97 DF (per the spec sheet). The timecode needs to be turned in at 00;02;00;00 and at 59.94 DF via XDCAM HD 720p60p MXF wrapper. And not a frame over.
Every export comes out either over or under the 2 minute mark. I realize that the math associated with DF is impacting this, but are there any tips out there to clamp this deliverable down to the time asked?
It’s worth noting that this 2 minute deliverable is a cutdown of an existing video that is broken into two parts, with timecodes of 00;02;22;00 and 00;02;38;00 respectively. I was able to export those no problem, but am curious to hear of any tips.

Wait…the spec sheet says that you need to edit in 29.97, but deliver in 59.94? That sounds like it’s creating the problem, and would make it difficult to do a frame-accurate export. If I were you, I’d try to copy the whole timeline to a new 59.94 native timeline, and export from there. That way you can set it to export to the exact frame you want.
