No problems as of yet, with DV or HDV projects.

July 5, 2007 at 11:36 pmBill, I started a new project and imported a PPro 2 project. The 32 bit TGA’s had their alpha’s inverted and it would not import the .aif sound files (made them off line). On attempting to re-link them it notified me that they were an unsupported format.
I will spend a little time later to get to the bottom of it all.

What would I do without the ‘UNDO’ button!!!!

July 6, 2007 at 12:14 amThanks, Baz. I’m on the verge of ordering the upgrade, but I have a large v2 project in the works, that doesn’t contain any TGA or AIF files as yours does. When I upgraded from 1.5 to 2, I brought a v1.5 project into v2 with no problems whatsoever. I’m running a dual-boot sys (win xp pro x32 and x64). So, if and when I get CS3, I might try loading it on the x32 side and open a copied v2 project file and see what happens. BTW, v2 works like a charm with Win XP Pro x64. Memory issues with large projects, gone.

Is this a DV project? If so, download the trial version to test out this procedure.

July 6, 2007 at 2:27 amThanks, Aanarav. No. It’s a 10-bit uncompressed NTSC SD project. Same as the v1.5 project into v2.

July 6, 2007 at 3:30 pmGeneral concenses is not to switch in the middle of a project. Finish them off, and then start a new one on a different built.
