I have a friend who has footage in FCP that he wants me to do some audio work on my PC Audition. How should he export it so I can import it into PC? A complication also is some of the video has 4 channels of audio and I would want that audio to be brought over intact and in sync.

I have no clue about Mac file systems so compatablity issues are unknown to me. Would a quicktime file saved on the Mac’s file system be something that I could move onto a portable harddrive and just connect to my PC. That’s not really an Audition question but if someone does know I would appreciate the info.

Thanks in advance for the help.

You need an AVI format for Audition …
