Bring “Too Much Too Soon” plug-ins To FCP X! We can do it.
I use the plugs from Too Much Too Soon quite a bit in everyday work on the older FCP. I wrote Mattias about them and this is how the exchange went:
Me – “Any idea if you’ll ever do these plugs for FCP X? I use Flash Frame and Wind Blur transitions a lot in FCP 7!!! I really need em 😉 Let me know!”
Mattias – “I will. Waiting for donations to reach fcpx level so i can buy a copy then I’ll get to it. Flash frame and wind blur are among the first to be implemented for sure. Stay tuned.”
He has offered his plugs for free forever, only asking for donations. I’d love to see these come to the new FCP as I really rely on em. Anyone interested in helping the development of them, toss him a dollar or two and we’ll get em! Here’s his site address:

Good call … tho the rate the boys here a lot of the good stuff in TMTS will have been replicated before the week is out 🙂

Oh, I know! These guys have been amazing!!! I definitely appreciate what they’ve been doing…especially since most of the stuff SHOULD have been in FCP X at release. Much gratitude to these folks here. Flash Frame and Wind Blur transitions a la TMTS plugs would be awesome.

TMTS Flashframe is a GREAT effect…I use it for EVERY transition! 🙂 Is that too much?

No, it only gets too much when you use it in real life too … like walking around your house, when you move from room to room, using it then would be bad.

Please tell me how does the TMTS Flashframe transition work? I tried a lot and it drives me little bit crazy now. The exposure (flash) is too much, but when I lower the luma everything gets ugly grey… When I change the end percentage it just moves the scenes cut more to the right :s I also found out that when using the effect only as start of a scene the effect brings a few black frames first. Why is that?
Hope anybody can help, cause I working on a big project and this little thing takes too much time.

Thank you so much for the homage to the flash frame effect, but the link for the windblur seems to be dead, any chance of getting that back up?
