Bring cloth tag to a stop
I have a banner hanging that I want to wave a couple times and then come to a stop. When I keyframe the wind attributes down to 0, it still moves.
As far as I can tell, the only way to bring it to a complete stop is to set the cloth engine to stop on a certain frame. This stops it abruptly though and I need it to stop naturally.
Would greatly appreciate a solution for this. Thanks in advance!

Try keyframing the Forces>Global Drag parameter.

Global Drag just slows the movement down. Closest Ive come is by animating the Mass.
I’m trying it a different way now, using a wind emitter instead of the cloth engine.
