  • “Brightness and Contrast” the best way to improve dark footage?

Posted by Jerry Neal on July 7, 2007 at 3:35 am

    Hello,

I was curious if using the “brightness and contrast” adjustments are the best way to improve dark footage. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    I love color corrector.
Gain, Offset is essentially the same as brightness/contrast,
and you can play with gamma too.

I am new to Vegas but not editing. I’ve tried this procedure and it works well but how do you get it to work on an entire event? It only seems to work on the frame the cursor is on at the time. To do the whole event would take forever.

Drag the filter to the event you wish to process. Set the parameters you prefer. That’s it.
