  breakup on input of HD material

  Hi guys,

  Has anyone ever had a problem with capturing 29.97 1080i HD footage into Final Cut? I am experiencing massive constant breakup (I would describe it as seeing green bars and the video is getting cut up and jumping all over the place.) I do have 1080i 29.97 reference patched into the Kona Board. It will not allow me to use the tape deck (video) as its reference. Can this be a reference problem?

  I do not have this issue with standard 29.97 NTSC.
