Has anyone else experienced this? Using a CC to nest a sequence was my workaround for X’s lack of “load sequence into viewer” by which I take 40 minute sequence and create a 2 minute highlight from it.

What I do is try and make selects from the Event by way of the nested sequence (CC) and cut those moments into the storyline. That clip will usually have a dissolve to another clip though so I need to break it apart. When I do so, I completely lose I/O points. This doesn’t seem to happen when I do the same thing with single clips.

The same happens here mate. The problem is when you have extended the audio handles from some compound clips
