  • Brand new iMac – upgrade FCS 2 or not?

I know that you really should not upgrade a production suite unless you really need to.

However, I’m installing on a brand new iMac (10.5.4) and the question is: should I allow Pro Apps, FCP, DVDSP etc to upgrade at least once before taking the machine into prodction? I do believe it’s 6.0.1 on the install discs.

A quick reply is much appreciated, since I’m shuffling DVDs right now. 🙂

The disks I have are 6.0, but your may be 6.0.1.

    Apple currently has 6.0.5 out.

I just upgraded all 5 of my systems to 6.0.5 and have not have any issue.

If you don’t have any projects that are in the middle of work then it shouldn’t be a problem.

Do you have any other systems there or is it just the 1 that you are talking about?
