Brand New FS100 has verticall moving horizontal black lines
I am using a brand new FS100 with the Novoflex adapter and Nikon lenses. I have changed lenses, shooting modes, and about anything else I can think of, but i get several large, horizontal black lines that slowly move vertically up the screen. Any ideas?

Where are you located? Could this be a problem with you light sources, i.e. 50 vs. 60 Hz?

Shutter speed is set to an unsafe speed to your discontinuous lighting source (probably fluorescents).
Try shooting in daylight, or under safe lights Tungsten/LED and your problem will disappear.
This phenomenon is not exclusive to the FS100, and can be seen on most cameras with a decent VF system. And is possibly the best case against the folks out there who like to say things like “we don’t need light with our super cool new fangled camera”. -Ha!

I think the problem was that I was just doing some quick shooting here in the office – under fluorescent lights. Ive just never seen it before because I always shoot under proper lighting.
