I plan on doing a video for a pre wedding reception audience. Bride and groom are bringing 5 kids together on this one, so I thought the “Brady” intro would work out well.

I haven’t tried any PIP stuff in Premiere yet, I know Wrigley Video has a tutrial for AP 6.0, but I figured PPro probably offered something better.

Anyone know of a tutorial for PPro on this, or can lend some assistance on the best way to do this? I still have access to AP 6.5 if that works better for this.

    Thanks in advance.

I would say the easiest way to get the square picture shape would be using a 4 point garbage matte. Then simply do the obvious positioning with the Effect Controls…

I think you’ll find PPro will handle the task.

…do they have a domestic service person for the center square?….or maybe a dog?

There are no real shortcuts. The tutorial shows the best way, except in PPro you use Motion instead of Transform.

Do the math and apply the effects. There are presets for this using four images, but not nine images.

    Tim & Steve,

Thanks for the comments – I am going to try the Wrigley method in PPro as Steve suggested.

Tim – No dog or servant, just a grandma that helps them out alot. When her face pops into the center square, there will be a great audience response.

    Take care guys.
