    I’m creating a shipping info graphic where I have multiple lines stroking out from the central shipping center to all the locations where a product is being sent to. I also want to show the product graphic following along the lined path. Right now I’m using the Stroke effect to generate a mask path drawing itself on, but can’t remember how to attach a layer to a path/mask. I just want the product graphic to be moving along the stroked line as it grows outward. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

    Paste the stoke path into the position property of the graphic, then add this position expression (assuming you are animating the End property of the Stroke effect):

    pct = thisComp.layer(“Stroke Layer”).effect(“Stroke”)(“End”)/100;
    valueAtTime(2*pct)

    This is great, thanks Dan! It works even without the expression and only pasted the path, but adding the time value helps for offsetting it’s location on the stroked line. Thank you so much!
