    Hello all,
I need to build an animated bottom ticker like you see on CNN, Fox news…
Is there a script I can write or a way to maintain a constant animated rate
from left to right not matter how long the sentence comes out to be?

Also, what would be the best rate for this?

    Thanks!

About 50 pixels/ second is a good speed. Just create two position keyframes, then use loopOut(“continue”) for constant speed.

is the loopOut(“continue”) an expression that goes into
    to my position attribute?

    what does that do ?

    Thanks again!!

I posted a screen shot.. is this correct?
How do I keep the speed to stay at the constant 50pixels/sec rate?
I never really understood how to read the part I have circled…

    Thanks!

For all things loopy see Dan’s tutorial “Animating a Walk Cycle”, there’s a loop project files that shows you the different loop expressions, and how to avoid pitfalls, good stuff.
