Boris Title 3d Credit Roll
Posted by Chris Babbitt on February 7, 2011 at 7:12 pmI’m sure there is a simple answer for this, but I just can’t see the forest for the trees. When setting up a credit roll in Title 3D, is there a way to stop the roll so that the last line holds at mid-frame?

February 7, 2011 at 8:36 pmI’ve done this two different ways.
After all my titles scroll through using Boris Title Crawl, I switch to Boris title 3d for the text I want to remain on the screen. Then keyframe the motion so the text scrolls in and then stops.
The other option is the Percent Completion slider at the bottom of the Control tab for Boris Title Crawl. You start by putting a keyframe at 0 percent and then move the playhead to where you want the roll to stop. Put a keyframe there and then adjust the percent completion slider so your text is at the position you want.

Thank you Miriam. The percent slider did the trick This has been bugging me for a long time, and it’s not mentioned in the rather sketchy Boris documentation. You must be pretty bright to have figured this out. -
