Boris Red…for $40.00????
While searching the market for Boris Red which normally sells for around $1000.00, I came across this website selling the older version 4.2 for only $40.00. (4.3 is the latest) The immediate urge to jump on it was quickly followed by a vision waving goodbye to the money and hello to problems. Take a look for yourself. Am I missing something???

Hi Joe,
You are wise. I went and visited the link you provided, and noticed there wasn’t any “About Us” or “Contact Us” link. I then went to the “Helpdesk” link and noticed that on the right a “Contact Us” link, when you click on it, it simply bring you back to the same page that you get when you click on “Helpdesk” link.
I wouldn’t buy anything from that place, very odd.

You know what they say… “if it looks too good to be true… it probably is“. That site is definitely selling pirated software.
If you can’t afford Boris RED then start with Boris FX or Boris Graffiti. Boris offers great upgrade pricing so your initial investment will be preserved. If you want an older version check on eBay but also be careful of pirates on eBay as well.

For sure all the warnings signs went up. The temptation lasted for only a minute then faded. This is my year of upgrades and cross platform usage and as such cutting down the outlay from the tally is very tempting. A few years back I helped in reporting the NY camera scams and every website I could find of theirs to all the law enforcement entities I could find. Back in that day I almost…almost bought a camera from one of them but the “too good to be true” light went on and I searched and found the truth. I posted this for myself and others as a reminder that they still out there. Thanks for taking the time to look at the site.
